The Dragonfly Cottage is a private and self-contained vacation home just across the wildflower meadow from the Desert Willow Bed & Breakfast in the Jemez Mountains; just over an hour from Albuquerque or and hour and a half from Santa Fe, New Mexico. Our darling, new, two bedroom, one bath vacation home is smoke free, with complete kitchen, an oversized tub for two with a handheld shower, a wood burning fireplace and a large, redwood deck overlooking the Jemez River.

Perfect for families, small groups or couples wanting a charming, private getaway, the Dragonfly Cottage features two queen-sized beds with room for a couple more on pads in the living room or in sleeping bags on the redwood deck. Bring your own food and prepare meals in our fully equipped kitchen, visit one of our restaurants a mile up the road in the village of Jemez Springs, or sample a continental breakfast for an extra charge and advance notice.

Brick floors, hand-made custom pine cabinets and ceramic tile create a cheerful ambiance in our little, 800 square foot cottage while windows bring in the stunning cliff and river views. The redwood deck stretches almost from one end of the cottage to the other; with the river running by just down the bank. A perfect "base camp" for a discovery trip to New Mexico and a popular hideaway for honeymooning newlyweds, the Dragonfly Cottage is the perfect place to make memories!

The rate for the Dragonfly Cottage is $135.00 per night for two and $155.00 for four people. With prior arrangement, a continental breakfast is available for $15.00 per day for two people. A discount is given for people staying longer than 7 days. A two nights minimum stay is required.

 

Three views of the dining and living rooms, which are actually one room. Vaulted ceilings and lots of windows give the cottage an open, sunny feeling. Slate and ceramic tiles decorate the fireplace, kitchen and bath.

A large deck with a BBQ overlooks the Jemez River and the cliffs beyond. A fully furnished and equipped kitchen makes preparing meals easy.
